Symbol Audio Website
Symbol Audio | 2017
In 2012 the Symbol Audio brand was launched on a simple Shopify storefront. The site was simple and effective, but failed to communicate the quality and personality of the brand and products alike. With an incredibly modest budget of $6,000, I lead the design, managed development, and launch of an entirely new wordpress/woocommerce based site with the help of an external developer.

The Problem
The old website was disjointed with a moody landing page and a templated shop that felt like a simple blog. It was very cumbersome to use on mobile and lacked the refined feel needed to get buy in from customers to purchase several thousand dollar cabinets sight-unseen.
New Homepage
The redesign focused on creating a scalable media-rich experience that was cohesive and showcased the quality of the product while explaining it to prospective customers. Reviews and press snippets were predominately placed to increase customer confidence from the outset.

On Page Video Vignettes
After launch, I styled, shot, and edited video vignettes of our different product collections to help prospective customers get a better sense of the overall quality of our pieces and how they sit in a home.
